Why don't you gift them a karaoke CD made totally by you !, without even spending a penny from your pocket ;-) Sounds cool huh...read on . We have already talked about the open source audio editing tool called audacity. Searching the internet for karaoke versions of your favorite artist songs is one way of doing it. The other way is take things in your own hands...blah blah...Enough of the introduction stuff. Follow these simple steps to create your own karaoke tracks.


1. First of all,you got to have Audacity.You can download it from here.

2. Download the binaries based upon your O/S.

3. Once you are done with the installation,Fire up audacity from your programs list.

4. Goto File->Open and browse to the location and select your song,open it.

5.Once the file is loaded,select the arrow near the track and select split stereo track as shown below.






6.Now the track is split into two,make sure you get something like this.



7. Now,select the lower track and make sure the whole waveform of the track gets selected. You just have to click somewhere near above the "solo" button and not on it.





8.Now with the lower track(alone) selected,goto Effect->Invert. Audacity takes a minute to complete inversion process.





9. Click on the downward arrow on the lower track and select mono.


10. Repeat the above process to the upper track as well.




11. Click File -> Export as MP3. It may ask for lame_enc.dll which you can download from here.

Note - Most songs have the vocals recorded in the middle channel,this methods exploits that by eliminating the sounds from the middle channel. The resultant karaoke track depends on the quality of the original track.

P.S. - Find a karaoke track that has been already sung by someone else other than the original artist,download it and apply this process for best results. You can find hundreds of sites where people upload songs sung by them. For starters try, esnips or imeem.

Guys most of you should be using Symbian OS Mobiles in Nokia like Nseries and 6600 etc . .
However after a period of time , it will become damn slow and HANGS frequently and becomes annoying , so the only solution to restore it back to normal is to FORMAT it . .

Here are the steps to format :


1. First create a backup file in your PC using Nokia PC suite , because u will loose all ur data from MEMORY CARD , so its better you take a bach up in ur PC

2. Now you can format your Memory card just by
Menu -> Tools -> Memory -> option and then select "Format mem. card"

3. Again restore the BACKUP file from your PC to mobile using Nokia Pc Suite . .

4. Now your problem will be resolved and thats it . . .

Even after formatting your memory card , if ur cell keeps on hanging , then the only solution is to FORMAT your PHONE MEMORY

1. First create a backup file in your PC using Nokia PC suite , because u will loose all ur data from MEMORY CARD , so its better you take a bach up in ur PC

2. Now there are two kinds of Format , soft and hard format
*#7370# -- (soft format) (Always do this , if ur problem is not solved go to hard)
*#7780# -- (hard format

3. It will ask you for password and it is 12345 (default code) .

4. It will format your phone completely and now your symbian mobile will be fresh like u purchased from the shop . .

5. Again restore the BACKUP file from your PC to mobile using Nokia Pc Suite . .

6. Now your problem is solved . .

1.Instead of formatting ur mobile , u can download the latest Firmware phone updates
and then connect ur phone with the sim in it with any general profile and run the update
it'll format as well as update ur phone and usually I ll do this trick . . . ..

2.Hard format clears the phone memory completing including the Secondary as well as the primary memory ... that is the storage memory and the RAM memory.. not a single setting or any trace of any kind of initial use can be noted ...

3.Soft format again formats completely but only for a few settings and information remains in the RAM memory and again when u re-insert ur MMC into the phone some softwares catch up with this saved files in the memory and they work perfectly normal . .

So here I go thankfully there's the shutdown function in cmd mode

First of all you need to have access to a cmd prompt on the network for this to work.

If it's disabled you can obviously run everything from .bat files.

So first type in

Net View


This will give you all the names for all the computers on the network.

Then you want to find a target and write it down, so for example a name is //045-comproom1-05 then you will utilize that name to shutdown the computer.

Now next step is to do the following one

shutdown -i


which will give you a gui interface and you'll be able to shutdown whichever computer you want with it, you can set a time, even throw in a funny comment like "owned" or somethin Smile.

commands you will use if you just wanna use the command interface are

shutdown -m //computername
- shutsdown the pc.

shutdown -m -c "owned"
shutdown with a comment.

shutdown -l
logoff the user.

Now a days most of them enters google talk in Invisible mode , so its difficult for us to track and chat with them , in the case of yahoo messenger we can find invisible persons easily (click here ) ..

Steps :



1. Set the chat as off the record with target user ( how? ).
This can be done only when the other user is online. ( need help? )

2. Now try sending chat to that user when he is invisible or offline.

3. If he is invisible, then he will receive chat.

4. But if he Is offline, then you will receive error “ did not receive your chat”.


Explanation:

Point 1: When a chat is set off the record, it will no longer get stored in your Gmail account.

Point 2: When you send a chat message to offline or invisible user, it gets delivered by default. At receiving end if user is online, a chat screen pops up showing him your message. If he is offline, your chat message will go to inbox as a mail.

Now if you put together above points then you will notice that, when you set chat off the record it can’t be delivered to inbox as mail, so it will be delivered only if user is online (no matter if he is invisible).

Now the only tricky part is finding a user online for once to set chat off the records. This doesn’t seem hard as invisible status is still limited to Gmail version of Google Talk and you may be in luck if your friend
uses Google Talk desktop clients/gadgets or third party IM client to chat.

Here are some keyboard tricks you can use to impress your friends! These are nothing but less known features of the Windows XP operating system. To revert back the screen to previous state, repeat the key combination again.

Trick 1 : (High Contrast) - Hold Shift, Alt and Print Screen keys together. Click on “OK” when a message appears (this enables high contrast on Windows system). The screen should change to black!

Trick 2 : (Magnifier) - Hold Windows key (logo key) and R key together. Type magnify in the run box and then press Enter. This enables magnifier tool and anything near the mouse trail will now appear magnified on top!

Trick 3 : (Invert Windows screen) - This is one of the scariest tricks which turns Windows upside down. You can press Ctrl, Alt and then any of the four arrow keys (Ctrl-Alt-Down will rotate screen by 180 degrees)! I have noticed that this doesn’t work on certain Windows XP machines (It is dependent on video driver).

This is done so that you don't steal (via right-click->save picture) their photos or images or any other goodies. Unfortunately, it disables ALL right-click functionality: copy, paste, open in new window.

Click "Tools"->"Internet Options"
Click the "Security" tab
Click "Custom Level"
Scroll down to the "Scripting" section
Set "Active Scripting" to "disable"

This is the simple method which is used to convert any VERSION of KIS/KAV to be trial for ever.All you have to do is to follow the upcoming steps :



1. Disable Kaspersky Self-Defense. Open Kaspersky, go to Settings > Options> Disable the item "Enable Self-Defense"> OK

2. Run KasperskyRestartTrial.reg

3. Using right mouse button, click on Kaspersky icon near the clock and select Exit.

4. Go to Kaspersky data folder. To go direct, copy the address in red below. On Windows, click on Start button and run the address below.

5. Go to AVP8 or AVP7 folder and rename the Data folder to any other name. For example 2Data

6. Open the Kaspersky.

7. If Kaspersky rebuild the Data folder, then delete the new Data folder it recreated.
* Be careful not to delete the original folder from step number 5, because we need it!

8. Rename back the original Data folder to its original name.

9. Select "Enable test version (30 days)"

10. Enable Kaspersky Self-Defense!


NOte :

• It can be used for all Kaspersky versions!

• With this method, you can use trial period several times.

• This is the best method of all because there is no risk. It don't use any suspicious executable(. EXE), for this reason, there is no risk of viruses.

• You can use this method before or after the 30 days of testing done. It is better to use before trial period.• The Kaspersky will warn that you are using the evaluation period. you have to hide the warning.

In case of user password boot the pc in safemode by pressing the F8 key and then selecting the Safe Mode option. You can now logon as an administrator and XP wont prompt for the password.

Incase of an administrator account try rebooting the pc in DOS. access C:\Windows\system32\config\mania . Rename mania as mania.mj

Now XP wont ask for password next time You Login.

OR

Go to the cmd prompt(Start -> Run -> cmd ->ok) .
Type net user *.
It will list all the users.
Again type net user "administrator" or the name of the administrator "name" *.
e.g.: net user ABCD *(where ABCD is the name).
It will ask for the password.
Type the password and there you are done.
Logging In As Administrator:
Hold the Ctrl-Alt key and press Del twice. This will bring up the normal login and you can log on as Administrator.

To unhide the Administrator account so it does show up:

Start Regedit (Start -> Run -> regedit ->ok)

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon \ SpecialAccounts \ UserList

Unhide the Administrator key by giving it a value of 1

I've been editing the fifa 09 database to add in more and more new faces and players, due to a virus attack while testing somthing happened and I'd to format and reinstall Windows.After that I updated the windows through Microsoft Windows Update and then I could not open the creation master 09 even after reinstalling it so many times.This error kept showing up

Recently my PC got affected by some VIRUS and after that i removed almost most of the Trojan virus with my KIS Anti virus . But soon after it I noticed some Strange activities in my system like if I press CTRL+ALT+DEL then it i get a error message stating “Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator”.



Now I felt that it is very easy to recover from this error by going to Registry Editor and so I clicked Start--> Run --> Regedit . Now only i realized that its not a easy deal because i got a error meassage stating “Registry editing has been disabled by your administrator“.



And I got another problem that Folder Options and even Show Hidden Files & Folder is disabled and I tried scanning my PC with almost all popular Antivirus but nothing had helped me to recover the errors , so i had left with only one option of FORMATTING my windows . Soon after few days again i experienced the same problem again and this time i am not ready to format instead I used a trick and restored my PC to its STABLE STATE . So I thought of sharing it with U.

This problem is most commonly caused by a virus called “Brontok“. Brontok virus will make some changes to the system restrictions in order to hide itself from easy detection and also from easy cleaning.

Here’s a free tool called Remove Restrictions Tool (RRT) which is able to re-enables all what the virus had previously disabled, and gives you back the control over your own computer.

We'll The PC version of FIFA 09 has few of the features cut down, The XBOX 360 version is really really good, the PC version of FIFA is not as good as the XBOX version as there are a about 30-50 tricks that are cut down and cannot be done with your keyboard or a single analog joypad. I'm a big fan of playing online games and nonetheless I love the game "EA Sports Fifa 09". While I was playing I found out a few glitches in the game and in the replay, I just saved after the match was over.I unlocked the legendary difficulty level so I wanted to try it out so I began playing great and scored a goal very shortly. I went of planned to break my enemies defenses so I decided to take a offensive play and marked my custom formation for Manchester united. I accidentally pressed slide tackle button on my controller instead of the standing takle button and ended up with one man down, Vidic was gone and my custom formation had only 3 defense men. I never played legendary difficulty before so I was unaware of the strength of the PC bot. Fed up of loosing a defencemen I thaught of going down and committing fouls again and again. Soon I ended up with 4 RED cards and 4 YELLOW Cards.Then these glitches showed up.

Then I found this glitch with the legendary mode, after fouling so much I never stopped and continued fouling.I never ever got booked after that.There is more I lost ronaldo the best player in Manchester United according to FIFA 09. I had only 3 men with offence and 3 men with defence and 1 goal keepe, But with red cards people cant come back and play again in the field,

Glitch no 1: I was shocked to see Cristiano Ronaldo again.

Glitch no 2 : The problem was Ronaldo cannot do the skill moves he does.

Glitch no 3 : After getting 4 red cards you never get booked red again it may be only yellow cards but if u get 4 yellow cards then you don't get booked for anything.

Glitch no 4: The goal keeper of the opponent team seems very easy to beat even in legendary difficulty.

Glitch no 5: The replay was messed up with Berbatov and Rooney struck at the center after 5 mins of game, This happened in replay and not in the game.

Glitch no 6 In spite of all these glitches I still can defeat a team in FIFA 09.Take a look at the picture.
